If you are not one to do an enema or don’t feel comfortable having a colonic performed, you may benefit from a salt water flush. A salt water flush cleanse flushes the colon from toxins, similar to what an enema will accomplish.
To prepare for a salt water flush, it is best to skip dinner the evening before. Typically one should do the flush upon awaking in the morning. Perform the flush on a day that you do not have to be at work and can stay close to the bathroom all day! So, it is really best to have nothing else to do the day you perform the flush.
The recipe for the flush is quite simple. Here is the salt water flush recipe that I have tried:
1. Warm a quart of purified water in a sauce pan on medium heat.
2. While warming, add in two teaspoons of Himalayan sea salt. Mix so that the salt dissolves in the water.
3. Once the salt has been mixed and dissolved, taste the water. It should have a slightly salty taste.
4. Once the water has been warmed (not hot!) pour into a glass.
5. Drink the water quickly, one glass at a time. Do not chug the water as this may cause you to vomit. You should have between 2-3 glasses of water.
6. Once you have consumed the water, rub your abdomen. This will help you to break down built up waste.
7. You should develop diarrhea. Typically, it will take between 15 minutes and 2 hours to hit.
The water will be expelled through your anus. The salted water that you consume will not be absorbed into your digestive system. It will pass through to your colon.
Doing a salt water flush detox can replace an enema. You will accomplish multiple goals with this flush. Not only will you be aiding in cleansing your colon, but also your liver and kidney. An added benefit is that you will also be flushing candida and cleansing your system of parasites. Keep in mind that a salt water flush is not a standalone treatment and won't accomplish all of these goals on its own. But, it is highly effective as a compliment to other colon cleansing rituals.
After you have completed a salt water flush, you need to replace the good bacteria that has been flushed from your digestive system. Try a probiotic supplement to be certain that you replenish what you have lost during the flush.
As always, it is a good idea to consult with a qualified physician before trying any colon cleansing program.
